Founded in 1972 by Ernest Bill Harris, Harris Real Estate successfully grew through honesty and integrity. Mr. Harris was loyal to all of his customers and business associates. At the time of his death in 1999, his son-in-law Mark Williams assumed the duties of broker and ran the business for 11 years. Mark strictly followed the same guidelines that have made this agency a success. In 2010, Mark Williams was appointed to the position of DNR Commissioner for the State of Georgia. At that time, the reigns were turned over to Freddy Swenson, Broker, who started with Ernest Bill 25 years earlier. Freddy continues to follow the same principles that have made Harris Real Estate a respected business among customers and business associates. Harris Real Estate has a combined total of over 150 years of customer service. Real Estate is still our only business!
At Harris Real Estate, we offer a wide range of real estate services, from assisting customers in buying and selling homes, to rental property. Real Estate is still our only business.
The Fair Housing Act of 1968 bars housing discrimination because of race, color, religion, sex, disability, family status and national origin. The Act covers the sale, rental, financing and advertising of almost all housing in the nation. Fair housing investigations are conducted by HUD investigators, state and city agencies working with HUD, and private fair housing groups that receive HUD funds.
